Use the Yoast "Google preview" pop-up editor window in the WordPress editor.I expected that Yoast would display and remove the length warnings at the correct number of characters. Please describe what you expected to happen and why. 142 characters gave the green "Well done" rating for length. This was reported by Yoast as an orange "over 156 characters" warning for length, even though it is only 143 characters. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. Meta description text: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. 105 characters gave the warning that length should be at least 120 characters. This was reported by Yoast as a green "Well done" rating for length, even though it is only 106 characters. I noticed that Yoast gave meta description length warnings which did not match with counting the characters.
